Panel 1: “Its bad enough those extremist justify their hate on us in his name already, but seriously?”
technicality: that’s not a menorah (the seven branched candelabra, symbol of judaism), it’s a hannukiah (8+1 branches, used specifically for hannukah). Thank you for your attention.
Technicality: The word menorah in modern Hebrew can refer to any lamp/bulb/candle. While the particular menorah used during Hanukkah may be a hannukiah, that doesn’t make the use of menorah incorrect. Thank you for your attention.
wow – thanks – now I’ve learnt something. Thanks to your attention!
Sweet Mother of Moses, when Liberace, he who stands and sparkles, deems something “showy” then perhaps it’s time to get smaller candles.
Nice shading on bug in the first panel, Adam. One rarely see’s such attention to detail in comics nowadays. And dude…that last panel…bug shaking while holding the candles while giving a maniacal laugh? HYSTERICAL! Literally LOL’d in my pants!
Agree with Jeff on the artwork, but also wondering how the glittery Liberace-Bug can be worked into other themes….
Jeff: if you LOL’ed in your pants, how high up do you pull them?
I’m an old man, so basically they’re so high, I have to unzip just to smile…
The comic’s good, but, um, the title. This isn’t Imgur. You’re not allowed to pun like that.
There are many things that can be made more appealing with the introduction of a little rampant pyromania: religion, ballet recitals, jump rope, the DMV… (okay that last one would be more along the lines of “application” than “introduction,” but still.)
Lovin’ the little FireBug by the way. ;p
