I laughed SO hard when I read "whiny knob." That is truly excellent. As a side note, doctors are in fact known to say "walk it off" with surprising frequency-I know because I worked with one for two years.

You'd be surprised. Many years ago my mother was coughing up blood, a lot of it. The doctor actually told her to walk it off. Turns out you can't walk off lung cancer…

You don’t have insurance?? Do you have $3000? No? Do you make less than $5000 a year? No?
      Walk it off.

Okey dokey all done. Wow you have a lotta comics here Adam and I gotta say they are BLOODY BRILLIANT (you're probably sick of reading that bit oh well) keep up the good work. I should probably go to sleep now it's like 1 in the morning here in Australia.

If they arn't trained that way then I think they are trained to tell you to rub some dirt in it.

I adore this. My mom's an ER nurse and the majority of people that come into the ER nowadays DO need to be told to just "walk it off." Sadly, the docs can't do that as much as they'd like to.

Great comic, the second and third panel must be this death panel everyone keeps talking about.

Panel 2 was me as a kid. Happened to fall out of trees A LOT.

Just started reading Bug this last week, I've enjoyed about97% of what I have read! My wife even likes Bug and she thinks 9/10 of the web comics I read are stupid. So props! You Rock!

once as a kid i was playing 'war' or somesuch on a farm, i was crawling around on my hands and knees among the tall grass hiding from the other kids. i somehow managed while crawling to place my hands on the other side of one of those low, single-wire electric fences (they're like a foot off the ground) and clotheslined my gut with that thing.

    OH MAN THAT HURT.

When someone tells you this, just say: "I think getting here to recieve actual help would have involved walking. Clearly, that didn't work. Perhaps you could be realistic?"

A doctor told me to just walk it off once in a hospital, after i had injured my ankle, which was black and twice its normal size at the time.

Turns out i had torn my Achilles tendon… i hate doctors xD
