I want to challenge the devil to a yoyo match! It would be fun! Bug can show a lot of emotion with what he has.

Panel 3 makes me want to say sorry.

I was thinking something a bit more Jackie Chan. Possibly being caught in a. Yo-yo breakdance competition between the Thugees using cobras for yo-yo strings and the Yakuza using yo-yos with attached tattoo needles. Then, just as Bug rides in on à la Evel Knievel performing an around the world upside down whilst flying through flaming hoops, Thugees to his left walking the cobra and Yakuza to the right inking NerdBug’s ass with Kali in a red circle with a slash through it, Bug sprains a toe in his motorcycle boot, effectively ending his around the world in Albuquerque. Or something like that.

Hmm, 4th panel makes me wonder… COULD you play “Devil Went Down to Georgia” on a Yo-Yo?

Remember the movie Crossroads? When Ralph Macchio, armed only with a honey blond Duncan, had to battle Steve Vai, armed with a fire engine red Yomega San Dimas custom shop, in a finger-cutting contest for both his AND his friend’s souls? Yeah, I don’t really remember it either…

It’s a shame, because standing behind a dragster is THE best place to perform awesome yo-yo tricks. 😉

But “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” is such a great song…

Also, I’d think Panel 3 would be more likely to happen in the Middle Ages; cavemen would be intimidated by his mystical powers. 😉

      It says TRIBESman, not caveman.

Aren’t most tribesmen (at the very least, the kind wearing furs like Nerd Bug is shown to be) just slightly more advanced versions of cavemen? Same resources, same weapons, same lifestyle. One would assume that they would share many similar views of mysticism.

But my mistake, if I made a historically inaccurate comment about an anthromorphic bug tribesman wearing glasses.

I think my brain just broke in trying to figure out where cavemen belong during the Middle Ages. I mean, could you imagine King Eward I in a pitched battle with cavemen?

And panel 4 nearly made me spit tea onto my laptop. How dare anyone question the truthfulness of “Devil went down to Georgia”?

Well it’s not that unimaginable: Mr. Eddy Longshanks *did* fight against the French…

    UNcommon injuries. Awesome as always.
WilliamKatWilliams (if that’s your REAL name), unfortunately, I do remember that scene and that movie…no matter how hard I try to forget.
And “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” on yo-yo’s would be totally rad…

Pshh! ‘Course it’s mah real name! What did you not like about that scene? I thought Karate Kid did a half way decent job of faking it.
