Joker Bug is the most kickass thing I’ve seen in this comic. Even without any lines, he totally stole the strip.
Also, Nerd Bug as Robin? Awesome. The only thing I didn’t like about this strip was that this is the first Bug comic that made me really feel the lack of color.
I throw boomerangs as a hobby, and I have to say that a lot of people don’t realize that there’s more to throwing a boomerang than just flinging it any old way.
If you don’t keep track of the wind, or don’t throw it just right, you can end up seeing your boomerang soaring over much of the park and city. (And probably breaking when it lands — if you can ever find it!) And a good boomerang isn’t cheap, either — a good one can cost around $20 to $30 US dollars! (Sometimes more.)
So, that “Dude, that batarang is long gone” statement is quite fitting.
