Really? How convenient! We can mail him home for the holidays and save on airline tickets.

I think “Friggin’ Smooshed” is the way most Bugs go out, isn’t it? That or “eaten”, usually by another bug or larger critter.
Wonderful comic, as per usual, Adam. Rock on!

Don’t forget “Multiple organ failure, suffocation, and/or severe acid burns from commercial pesticide exposure.”

The traditional term is “Squoosh”, as in, “If you squoosh a bug you gets rain.”

“Smashed” and/or just “Mashed” is a good alternative.

That’s an interesting point. Could they just write “crushed” or “trampled” or do they have to detail the damages?

Yes, it is lengthy. It has to be professional and finely detailed. On black Friday shoppers, coroners flinch at the subject.

I think Mark Twain wrote a fake news story about someone who was sucked into a carpet-weaving machine at work. His widow bought the whole roll, and he was buried under a marker that said, “Sacred to the memory of 11 yards of four-ply carpet containing the mortal remains of….” You can imagine how the grave was shaped.

“Were” was supposed to be underlined. >.>

It’s “was,” as in, “I was a coroner.”

I believe it would be “were”, actually. “Was” implies it was at one point so, and you use “were” when it is wishful thinking or a hypothetical situation 🙂 no need to thank me, The Grammar Nazi lol

It’s nice to see the word “jaunty” made an appearance after all the rigamaro at Thanksgiving about how it was spelled. And on that note… apparently I don’t know how to spell rigamaro.
