I’m majoring in philosophy and working my way to gradschool so I can get my Ph.D. in the subject and whenever I’m trying to tutor people this questions ALWAYS comes up. This strip just made my day because sometimes I with there could remedial philosophy courses just so I wouldn’t have to have this conversation every day.

Why is it that we say somebody waffles if they’re indecisive? They flip-flop? Shouldn’t that make them pancakes then and not waffles? You flip your flapjacks, not waffles.

My thesis from the Waffle Wondering class.

I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to use the “next” button on this particular comic on Monday. You can use it on the past few comics today.

If you go back to the 28th’s strip, the next and latest buttons are not working, as well as on the 29th’s strip. Of course today’s comic wouldn’t have them working, but if you go back a comic or two, the next button isn’t working on a few older strips as well.

Weird. I’ve been checking out the “next” and “previous” buttons on these comics and they work just fine for me. I’ll ask my web guy why some people are having problems with them.

No, he(she?)’s right, the next button doesn’t work if you go back 2 comics. The ‘Prehistoric Crap’ one is the last one it doesn’t work on, and doing ‘Latest’ on any other comic goes to … weird, a few comics before ‘Prehistoric Crap’, but then the ‘latest’ on those just function like ‘next’, until ‘Prehistoric Crap.’ Strange bug.

Is it possible that it is working on other web browsers like FireFox, Chrome, et. al. but not IE? Not a total techie, but that may be the issue.

Not sure if fb likes mean anything, but if they do, this was Adam’s strongest strip since “Malicious Melodies” — a home run for sure. I’m looking forward to seeing it in book form!

Chrome 17.0.963, and I can verify if you go back one strip, the “Next” and “Last” buttons do not even appear as links.

Also, this is truly brilliant. Considering getting a print for the sheer awesomeness of it.
