Aussie comic Jim Jefferies does a bit about God talking smack in the Bible about the Devil and observes that the Devil is the bigger man because he does not respond in kind talking smack about God.
“We haven’t heard his side of things,” says Jefferies.
And besides, he says, why would the Devil punish you for doing bad things? If your life was spent drinking and smoking and whoring and you go to Hell, instead of being punished for such devilish behavior, you’d be welcomed to the party.
