I actually had a bug moment like this. Dude tried to get my attention but I was putting a motorbike helmet on and I was focused on that, by the time I realized what was going on, he was gone.
This sort of thing happened to me in High School once. A girl showed what seemed to be interest in me, but I was so sure she was mocking me that I stonewalled her until she gave up. Four months later I ate the Hershey’s kiss she gave and threw away the heart-shaped Valentine’s card it was attached to.
Top that, Bug! NO ONE can out-pathetic me! Ah hah hah HAH HA HA HA HAH-
