Whenever my family went to something fancy, I was always the first one ready, probably because I never fussed with jewelry or whatnot. Slap on a nice outfit, run a brush through my hair, done. I was also first to ruin my outfit. Or I tied with my brother.
This is considered a “wee bit?”
I’m afraid to see what would happen if it was longer.
That’s why doing the family photo is an annual event, it just about leaves the womenfolks enough time to pick an outfit.

I would’ve taken Knucklehead Smiff over being forced to have the exact same lame haircut as my dad from the 3rd grade to the 5th grade.
