I started playing Mass Effect this week. Put in two full days of that game over the weekend. Forgot to get up and eat more than one meal a day. Lost three pounds.
Happy…but I’m not playing for a couple days. I think I better let my body have some food sometimes.
As a cyclist, I’m all about defending the cyclist’s right to the road, but the illustration clearly shows that bug hit the car, and not the other way around. (I had the same kind of run-in with a deer once.)
I almost hit a deer with my moped once. I got surprised while driving just about a hundred metres from my house, even if we live out in the country the deers usually stay away from houses.

Tragically, coma patients tend to *gain* weight (at least at first) due to the body retaining fluids.

I used to be a fat guy, then I got a job as a “Package Handler.” I’m being paid to work off my excess flab AND give myself spinal injuries! Kaching!
Huh… If I were to tell my wife to handle my package as a way to lose weight, I don’t think it would go over as well.

The other technique is diarrhea, less painful and coma-ish.
Only problem was that you put back weight faster.

And we do actually live in a little town, up on a small hill surrounded by houses. The deer came from a backyard and ran into another one. True story.
