Yeah, I think I know what it’s referring to, but it’s interesting to kinda “get” the joke but still not laughing helplessly at it. Some kind of analyzing “Oh? Oh! Aha! Oh, I see. That was kinda funny, I guess…”

In American football, a coach can throw a red flag when he thinks an official messed up a call. it’s called a “challenge.” The play will then be reviewed via videotape.
A yellow flag gets thrown by an official when there has been a penalty on the field. (15 yards means the team in violation has to move back 15 yeards form the goal line)

On the upside, it’s probably challenging to draw a Ref Bug with his head under the replay hood. The horse is only mostly dead.
