This one hits close to home… I work in a call center, and you wouldn't *believe* what some of us do while we are taking your calls… a couple of guys shamelessly used the "mute" function in ther headsets to insert swearwords while the callers went on an on about things they'd already been adviced on…
Me, while I answer calls, I have an endless "knit one, purl three, knit two, purl 4…" running through my mind. I don't really need my hands to tell you you don't have any limit to spend in your credit card left; I can use them to knit instead. I finished a scarf on my first month there, and that was before I got used to the system and the stupid speeches I have to give…
