By Jove, I daresay such a retirement ritual is simply delightful! One must approach the day’s conclusion with comfort and solemn finality. Adam, old chap, you must indulge in such an experience before shuffling off the mortal coil, as it were.

I should jolly well say you’re right.

Voluntary temporary death caused by self induced (or sometimes with external stimulant) activity that caused slowing down of motoric skills until it reach near death experience.

If you consider that going long enough without it results in *in*voluntary and decidedly *not* temporary death, it’s probably the preferable option.

When Matt asked you how many viewers you had and you answered “one”, that made me feel really special. Many thanks though for broadcasting your live drawing, it certainly gives the finished comic a different look.
    Cheers!

Foor such gentlemen, it is called a nightshirt. And I love the antenna holes in the nightcap. But next time, Adam, don’t forget the bed-curtains around the four-poster! 🙂

And I thought a cat romping around on one’s bed at night was bad.

Adam, you (more than anyone else this year) have inspired the addition of many new words to my vocabulary. Well, it’s not a *new* word, but I love trying to work in the odd phrases you write about.

End of the year resolution (because I can commit for a couple of weeks, whereas a whole year is a bit much to bite off), I shall use “retire” to indicate bedtimes. And I shall use “shall”, because that seems like a fun one too.

Just make sure to look the words up first. I’ve been known to get definitions wrong from time to time.

Pip, pip! Cheerio! All that rot, eh what?
Insomuch as I’m 1/16 British, I jolly well approve of such vernacular frivolity, and forthwith give said jockularity my heartily & hastily slapdashed-together “two thumbs up” old Bean!
Well said! Well said, indeed, good fellow!
Shall we retire to the Sun Room for Tea? Very well, then!

Quite the jive you’re playing up, old chap! Quite a hoodwink indeed! I do say, I was quite dumbfounded by the audacious claim of british heritage of only one in sixteen parts, considering that such a diluted bloodline would require a persistent seeker to properly appraise.

      Did I do good?

I’ve read this comic multiple times, and this is the first I’ve noticed there’s no period after “I’m retiring for the night”.
