Adam, you have no idea how true this is! As a drummer it is the main reason as to why I chose it

I used to play in a band. I was the keyboardist, but I was also the percussion for most songs, giving it a good synthesized sound WO the keyboard.

Sorry, my tablet autocorrected the word ‘with’ with ‘WO’. Odd.

I don’t know, drumming seems tiring as hell… at least for the upper boddy. I think the less tiring instrument is the bass. It has less strings than a guitar and unless you’re in Primus nobody gives a flying fuck about you so you have it easy ^^

But I like the idea of putting beds and armchairs on stage. you should create a band. Call it Adam & the Lazy Fucks or something, it’ll rock (just not too hard) 😀

Well actually, most bands that don’t suck have their bassist as more important than the guitarist. Doesn’t apply to metal bands though

…and yet, doesn’t it sound like it *would* be a good one?

            “Ladies and gentlemen…

            …put your hands together for…

            EASY ON THE F-BOMBS!”

You might run into an inept record keeper, too.

Guys, put your hands together for, “Uhm, I don’t know.” !

I have huge problems when it comes to standing in one place for too long so I’d chose drummer as well!

Playing the Hammond organ works too, unless you’re Jon Lord form Deep Purple and insist on tipping over and carrying the organ while you play.

Not so sure about keyboardists getting to sit. When I saw Styx 10 years ago, they had a young keyboard player who had moves Jerry Lee Lewis never thought of. The keyboard was on a revolving stand and that guy had the most animated showmanship in the whole band.

I’d pick the harmonica. You can stand or sit whenever. Then, when it gets to your part, you’re more important than the lead guitarist and get the spot light.

Oh, come on– what’s cooler than flaming bagpipes on a unicycle? Especially if you’re Darth Vader in a kilt.
