You know it’s bad when you lose to a kindergartener in whether or not someone believes you’re being truthful. I lied so much as a kid that my pants should by all rights have ignited into a sustainable source of heat energy.

And what did we learn from that story?

Lie as much as you want, there won’t be any consequences…. #-)

Oh, believe me, there were consequences. My parents had the uncanny ability to realize when I was lying off my ass and punish me for it.

Usually with a thorough switching, to the point where I had to lie off my ass.

That crippled bug gave me a sense of deja vu, for some reason.

    I used to be gullible.

Then I got a job where a lot of people lie to me constantly.

Now I wish I was gullible, again.

      A nurse or Anaesthesiologist?

      Nurse: Do you use drugs?

      Patient: ….. no.

      Nurse: ……….

      Patient: ………..

      Nurse: ……….

      Patient: ……….

Nurse: Seriously, be honest, or you will wake up in the middle of the operation screaming.

Patient: …………. Coke, a lot and lot of coke.

Once again, Adam, I marvel at how much expression you can get into such simple lines.

As well as being bent out of shape (metaphorically, rather than as in panel 4).

I have a similar problem. I’m an excellent liar, but I get deathly afraid sometimes that I won’t be believed when telling the truth, so I only get a guilty face when telling the truth. Thank god my wife actually knows and understands that about me.

I lost my composure at the last panel! Seriously, my baby girl jumped my laugh was so sudden and loud. That’s what ALL doctor visits feel like, and I’m a truthful person!
