I suspect dentistry is a lucrative career because of the expenses necessary to reach the point where you have expertise… but let’s be honest, they’re not gonna look in a bunch of disgusting mouths for minimum wage either.
Well, the hygienist does most of the disgusting stuff for routine folks. But the folks who’ve never flossed… never brushed… chewed tobacco… used meth… ate sardines and nibbled their toenails… well, I’d want a heap more than minimum wage to look at that too!
