I love this, though unfortunately it's my experience even in noncop jobs that coworkers will often try to flee the scene of work

People don't flee the scene when asked to do paperwork? What office have you been working at and can I get a job there?

Is there a particular reason you returned Nerd-Bug's bow tie?

Ties are a dress code requirement where they work.

    K. Contrary to what you think, people do lie to you all the time at work. As for frisking…. let's face it, it'd make you closer to your coworkers at the very least.

I love the third panel! Always good to change your story a couple of times before you decide on one 😛

Does nerd bug normally have a square butt cheeks or is this a new geeky office bug?

Ha-ha. Yeah, I messed up when drawing the trousers. They came out a little more boxy than intended. I was wondering if anyone would notice.

Oh, I don't know. All the bug's posteriors are pretty squared off. Seems logical to me.

My husband is an about-to-retire police officer, btw, and loved today's installment. I think he's looking forward to a frisking-free future.

I thought that was just because of a large stapler in them.

Next time someone loses something, I'll ask if they've checked my pants.

I’m a teacher. All these things happen in my job, too. ;-; (granted, I personally don’t frisk kids, we take them to the school deputy…oh, wait… ): )
