    That old big ass refracting telescope at college I used to take pictures of the moon was real. Weight driven, it was weight driven.

    Also, in high school we went outside just before dawn to see Mercury. It was freezing. Not a lazy thing to do.

    And, walking out to a dark enough spot to estimate brightness of Cepheid variables in winter was not a lazy activity. Forget how many days I had to do that to get enough data.
