Love your comic! Reply Freya on May 3, 2010 at 9:18 pm Man that is so true… Thats me, like clockwork.. Reply Sanders on May 3, 2010 at 10:38 pm It took me rereading it a few hours later to notice these are the stages of grief in reverse. Very very smart. Reply Izzie on February 12, 2014 at 4:16 pm Woah, they ARE… Reply SalmonBone on May 4, 2010 at 1:08 am Hahaha. best web comic, totally agreed. Reply Schmuck13 on May 4, 2010 at 3:59 am soooooooo True!!!!! That sad bug looked soo…SAD, but cute, most Awesome comic yet XD Reply Praveen Sawh on May 4, 2010 at 4:43 am Bug. I like how you took out the nose and mouth and blockified the hands. So you can focus on the eyes and body gestures for expression! Reply Adam on May 4, 2010 at 6:00 pm Thanks. Though I'm sure some would say I'm just a lazy artist. Reply AdamW on May 4, 2010 at 12:07 pm really, best comic I've seen on the net. You have a gift for capturing the humor in the often mundane parts of life. Kudos, and keep up the awesome work! Reply Adam on May 4, 2010 at 5:59 pm Wow! Thanks! Reply DontPanic on May 5, 2010 at 5:28 pm HAHA It's beautiful how your "five stages of Joy" are the five stages of dying in reverse order Reply Byond Jaded on May 9, 2010 at 5:56 am Oh this strip is so true… who can trust joy? 😉 Reply Beti on May 10, 2010 at 4:22 am Best yet! Reply Jep on May 14, 2010 at 1:12 pm I deal with all of these stages except acceptance. Reply Raen on May 25, 2010 at 6:02 am I can relate to this so much right now, it's somewhat heartbreaking instead of funny. But I still love it. Reply WaaawchBrittany on June 27, 2010 at 5:00 pm Haaaa… Clever. The five stages of death reversed… That's awesome. Reply Mystik on July 28, 2010 at 6:04 pm Amen to this. Reply oedalis on August 4, 2010 at 4:57 am Why does everyone keep referring to the "five stages of death". It's the five stages of grief, people! O_o Reply Krysie on August 18, 2010 at 6:35 pm This is like, the truest comic in the history of true comics. Reply WaaawchBrittany on August 31, 2010 at 9:46 am Five stages of death, five stages of grief… You get the same answer when you Google it so does it even matter? Reply draker on January 3, 2013 at 8:33 pm Of course it matters! Just because Google understands when people mangle the English language doesn’t make it right. Besides, think about it: The five stages of grief are the five stages people go through when grieving. Not when dying. (Maybe someone *else’s* death). I don’t know what the five stages of death would be, and now thanks to stupid people I can’t Google it to find out! Something like: 1. Illness, accident, or old age 2. Clinical death 3. Memorial/funeral 4. Burial 5. Decompisition. Capiche? LOL! Reply RalphWiggum on December 14, 2010 at 7:24 am I go through all those 5 stages every time something good happens! Your comic strips rock! Thank you Adam for bringing such awesome fun! I'm a big addict! Reply lythera on February 7, 2011 at 2:32 am lolz is it a bad thing to do all of these at once? I do every one of them every day… Reply Saumya on March 6, 2011 at 10:02 am That is totally me there. Reply odinatas on June 4, 2011 at 9:21 am honestly it’s more like this paranoia, suspicious, acceptance, fear Reply isthatSO on June 29, 2011 at 8:46 am I wish you had a like to the power of infinity button on all your comics. Reply KP on February 10, 2013 at 4:50 am This is funny because it’s true Actually this is sad because it’s true :\ Thanks for creating such great comic…really lifts the mood when I’m feeling down…please don’t stop drawing (bargaining) 😉 Reply Trackbacks/Pingbacks Tweets that mention Bug - Ode To Joy -- Topsy.com - [...] This post was mentioned on Twitter by John Norton and Jayjay Ferro, Steven Willoughby.
