I just find used tissues. I once found a few nickels and a soggy ten bucks, but that thing wasn’t gonna survive eve if it was next to the Constitution, let alone in my crappy wallet.
I always find crap in my suit jacket’s breast pockets. I think it’s because I feel important when I put stuff in there.
I’ve found treasure. As a kid my brother once found my wallet between a big book where I’d used it as a bookmark a year or two previously. It contained about 8 dollars worth of money, which was a big sum for a kid!
Later in life I found 25 guilders (10-12 dollars) from a shirt pocket. The problem being I’d left Netherlands and Europe had moved to the Euro just previously so it was worthless money to me. Had I but found it some months earlier…
I only find lint on my clothes. I save it on a plastic bag, hopping someday I have enough to make a lint coat.
“did I garotte a clown last winter” is a question that tells you you lead an interesting life.
One hundred points for using the word “Garrotte” in a comic strip!
That’s hilarious! Today was the first day to wear my jacket that I haven’t worn since my trip to Chicago in the spring. I found some museum brochures and a sticker that says Science is Rockin’.
Just found this thanks to a tweet by The Checkered Man…funny stuff. Great gestural work on the characters. -v
That is really crazy, did have to bust out the jacket lastnight. Found a half pack of smokes. Nice dry stale Marlboros mmmhmmm
In my lightweight jacket pocket, I just found my spare keys, which have missing all summer. I call that a score!
I once found $80 in a winter jacket pocklet… so yess treasure is totally possible!
I’ve found $20 once but usually I end up finding my daughters socks for some reason
my buddy always finds condom wrappers and candy wrappers wen he bust out his old jackets
I once found $50 that I was gonna loan my then-girlfriend. When I found it, we’d already broken up, so…double score! And then I later (in the same jacket, the next winter) found an expensive cigar and a lighter, but I’d quit smoking. I paused…I pondered…then I threw them both away. I was so proud of myself, I celebrated with some dessert-type thing. Now I weigh 400 lbs. Still glad I quit smoking though…
at the beginning of the summer I got out a camouflage jacket that had been put away two summers previously and the box misplaced. In the right pocket I found 2 plastic spoons, so of course the left pocket contained a plastic fork.
This is awesome! I sometimes worry that over the years Bug is going to start to go down hill in quality. But I have seen absolutely no sign of this happening soon, if anything Bug has only gone up. So thank you for this great strip Adam and stay awesome.
The game show geek in me lit up with your first panel. Nicely done.
i found a bunch of pencils, an old novel, and THE SOULS OF THE INNOCENT.
