I’m a biologist. And a woman. Haven’t been and will never be pregnant, but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t work that way. Anyhow, it’s too cramped in there for reading. The bellyphones will have to suffice. Maybe audiobooks? Reply Kevin on October 24, 2012 at 1:33 am Ha! So long, fourth wall. Reply Biokirkby on October 24, 2012 at 2:12 am Did these comics suddenly get more awesome while I was elsewhere? Reply Margaret on October 24, 2012 at 2:18 am Why in the world would you be elsewhere O.o Reply Odai Athamneh on October 24, 2012 at 9:52 am Yes, I feel like they’ve gone to the next level of funny lately. Reply Codric on October 24, 2012 at 2:47 am My mother accidentally swallowed a Super Nintendo Enternainment System while she was pregnant. This determined my whole life. Reply Talia on October 24, 2012 at 1:36 pm Like! Reply tymime on October 24, 2012 at 4:27 am Try Frank Zappa. Reply Wingspin on October 24, 2012 at 7:43 am Has a bug ever quit the sketch before? Hmmm? Reply Splox5 on October 24, 2012 at 7:50 am Scholastic suppositories, eh? It’s worth a shot I suppose. Reply Thomas McCool on October 24, 2012 at 10:43 pm You want to go on Kickstarter with this? Reply Ataro on October 24, 2012 at 8:21 am So, it’s revealed that the bugs are just actors? Reply Vince on October 24, 2012 at 8:27 am Funny the whole way through, but the bug removing the fake belly in the last panel killed me. -v Reply Music-chan on October 24, 2012 at 9:44 am Ha! This comic went to a very weird place XD Reply Thorbjørn on October 24, 2012 at 11:41 am I can’t recall having seen eyebrows on a bug before (panel 3) – is this new feature? Reply Frances on October 24, 2012 at 2:08 pm Nope. Read the archives, you’ll find plenty of eyebrows. Reply Thomas McCool on October 24, 2012 at 10:46 pm They are either shocked eyebrows or horny eyebrows. Reply Jeff on October 24, 2012 at 12:47 pm Pogo Possum used to break the fourth wall, and indicate that the characters were indeed, just actors. Last time I saw this done was with Bloom County, which was another awesome comic. Kudos, Adam! Nice job! Man, I love this comic strip. Reply Linguinni on October 24, 2012 at 7:45 pm Jeff, you hit the nail on the head and anyone that has actually read Walt Kelly’s Pogo has just admitted that they are old.. I guess that makes me old! Pogo, Bloom County, Calvin and Hobbes and now Bug. The best comics ever written! Reply Pendrellgirl on November 23, 2013 at 3:19 pm Not necessarily, since they sell collections of Pogo now. They have a couple years’ worth of strips in each book. Reply Jeremy on October 24, 2012 at 8:32 pm Strangely, I find this the most disturbing Bug comic to date… Reply Colleen on October 28, 2012 at 11:18 am You had me at panel #3! Reply MortalAnonymous on November 7, 2012 at 10:23 am I went to a Slayer concert in the womb…and so began my corruption. *evil laugh* Reply Saskfan on November 13, 2013 at 11:33 pm Love the fake belly being removed as actress bug quits! Adam, you’re a genius!!! Reply Cactus Defender on November 15, 2015 at 2:27 pm It took me a few seconds to figure out that you broke the fourth wall in the last panel.
