Bug trading cards need to happen.
Hahaha good one, I seriously do find telling the truth blatantly (and/or sarcastically) pretty funny. Something must be wrong with me.
- You’re all individuals!
– YES! WE’RE ALL INDIVIDUALS!
– …Im not.
Seriously, I would by so many Bug trading cards.
Not only would you collect the standard recurring Bug cast, but there would be rarer cards of well known people depicted as bugs like Hitler, Helen Keller, or maybe even Garpenuts!
Whoa. Forgot about Grape-Nuts Bug.
when you develop a bug store, this should be in it.
It’s funny, everyone wants to be unique, special and one of a kind, while at the same time they dislike being atypical, different and deviant – really, make up your mind, do you want to stand out or not?
Like that “I’m a pepper” Dr. Pepper commercial. It tried to sell uniqueness and failed when you realize they’re not all going to achieve their dreams, although I do like Dr. Pepper.
Along the same lines, does anyone remember the Levi’s campaign in the ’90s in which you were supposed to show your individuality by wearing the same jeans as everyone else?
And there’s a current TV ad campaign for some college or university (I forget which school — MAJOR failure on their part) whose tag line is “I’m not afraid to go my own way… and it looks like I’m not alone!” WHAT??? Seriously?
Would that happen to be Colorado Tech? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jq6AIFIeFk8
Yes, you are unique…just like everyone else!
Now, if there was a Bug trading card series, Niece Bug would definitely be unique.
Most bugs would be, actually.
And there’s an unfortunate fact that the more unique you are, the more you get picked at.
Silly Nerd Bug. A Carl Sagan is EASILY worth *two* FDRs. His loss.
And a JWBjr is worth less than either a joker or the copyright card.
I look forward to the day when people quit using the phrase ‘very unique’ as ‘very one of a kind’ actually makes no sense. If you want a qualifier, use ‘truly unique.’
Love the change in niece’s expression and body language. Another example of Adam’s skill with minimal lines.
Yes, Thorgold a Carl Sagan would easily be worth two FDR’s, but he’s trying to trade for a Stephen Hawkings. Nerd bug made the right choice.
I’m unique! Just like everyone else!
Ah, this reminds me of one of the Joker blogs. Great Youtube series.
Nice to know what you’d do with us kids adam!
Oh! Oh!! Oh!!! Mr Bug!!! Mr Bu-ug!!!
[bad Arnold Horshack impersonation]
Brainstorm – Can anybody design a game based on 54 Bug cards?
[artscow using the custom pack feature so both front and back could be unique plus there is the possibility of "colour" for a total of 108 different faces]
