Big Feet also means we sometimes can’t rent Skis. And Roller-skates!

But hey at least we don’t need to rent Snowshoes! But if we did we probably couldn’t even get them to fit!

I’ve NEVER seen a bowling alley shoe guy wearing a bow tie. Just sayin’…

This instance of bug is not by any chance a Hobbit bug? (And I don’t even want to contemplate what that would mean for the Tolkien stories.)

Also, “ginormous clodhoppers” gave me a serious giggle fit.

“Clodhopper” was one of those words that I wrote and wondered “Do kids even know this word?”

Yes! Unfortunately it’s those yogurt covered cluster things…

I am a big foot, too. It’s pretty much OK until I go to shoe shops in France, Greece, Spain or other countries where most ladies have small feet 🙂

It also makes finding shoe sizes hard…Though I only have double-wide feet…

I always hate misattributing a joke I remember from a hazy once upon a time, but I really do think it was Michael Witherspoon who once explained: “Yep, yep. I got big hands, ladies. And big feet, too! And you know what that means, right? Big gloves and big shoes.”

Almost three years later, nobody has stumbled upon exactly WHAT comparison you’re avoiding. Then again, I’m 93% certain its mythological anyway.

If we’re going with old terms, big clodhoppers equals a big tallywhacker. Or, as my woman said, “That’s a mouthful”.
