    When I first saw this strip, I immediately saw panel two and assumed this strip involved some form of deep-fryer incident. Otherwise, great strip as always.

      I did as well. I figured he’d accidentally batter-dipped and fried his face. Hopefully such inconvenience would only be tempurarary.

        Well, they say that “You are what you eat”.

        I imagine a single guy would eat a lot of battered foods and would thus become encrusted in batter.
