Haha, I think everyone who grew up with a phone in the house has made a call to someone random at some point or another. My mom likes to remind me of the time she let me play with her brick phone (I was three at the time) because she thought I wouldn't actually be able to use it. I ended up holding a 5 minute conversation with a really nice woman in Alaska before my mom noticed I wasn't just pretending to talk on the phone.

I was just thinking that that is a definite downside to cell phones. Slamming the phone down used to be so satisfying!
I'd imagine that line about the poo longer than my arm will prove useful next time I'm on a bad date that I want to cut short.
I have two toddlers that talk about that every time they are on the phone with family, friends, telemarketers that won't quit calling, and cashiers.

I tend to answer the phone with a noise that sounds like 'yallup?'
