In my community, jack o’ lanterns are used as projectiles post-Samhain (using jack o’ lanterns as projectiles PRE-Samhain will get you flash-mobbed by the whole town), with an abandoned and non-functional train car on a decades-unused bit of track as the most frequent target. The less mess your pumpkin makes, the better (mostly due to a larger mess meaning you were lazy during the disembowelment), and groups of friends often try to see who can hit it with a bare-handed throw from furthest away. Most people acknowledge that a strong arm is less accurate and aim for the broadside, but every so often a gambler or jock takes a shot at an end. Best throw I ever saw was a guy who flung at the broadside from too far to the side, and his throw had enough curve that it hit the end instead.

Would the proper disposal method be trebuchet or catapult? 😛

Love the comic Adam. The first panel is pure Bugmartini gold!

Not related to this specific comic, but, at least for me, the Random button is broken. It always brings me to the same comic (A time to slap). Now, if I open a new private window, it brings me to another comic, but if I hit Random again in that window, it always takes me to the that other comic. I have tried with two different browsers (Vivaldi and IE).
