I really think R2-D2 is trying to find a way to leave the panel, still, the sheer disdain in the fourth panel makes me chuckle for some reason xD

The current generation has Game of Thrones. So much for the “ew”.

Just didn’t seem right, but I’ll admit, there’s little to no logic about who gets antennas. C-3PO (no), Chewbacca (yes). No reason.

Makes senseish. But think about how cute he would look with them?

I know this is pedantic in the extreme, but I thought that was C-3PO with antennae in the second panel of the first Star Wars panel?

Yeah, you’re right. Forgot I did that. Haven’t been getting much sleep this past week. Amazed I haven’t made more mistakes.

Oh my gosh, the Mork and Mindy reference killed me! These Star Wars strips are delightful.

I wonder how many other people reading this are old enough to have seen Mork & Mindy on TV.

HEY! I’m 19 and I got it… But that might just be because Australia used to have re-runs of it on late-night TV

Ah, you young people. You know not of such merry tides as when we were lads. But fortunately, you can still watch them on YouTube. 🙂

I’m only 24 but 20th Century pop culture references are still my jam.

Obi Wan-Bug in the last panel KILLED me!
Also, what’s with the horns on Luke and Han’s heads? And what’s that black thing above Luke’s head? I suppose (if you squint) that could be hair on Solo’s head, but Luke’s definitely looks like a horn.

It’s Luke’s arm. He’s raising his hand for dibs. Also, Han’s hair has the same style as the previous strip, but here, the bottom jags of his hair are stuck in his scalp.

Also, I love how Star Wars fans (unless it’s just me) can look at the fourth panel and think call those characters Mark Hamill, Alec Guinness and Han Solo. There is no Harrison Ford.

      …only Zuul.

Floyd, look closer. Luke’s “horn” is his armored arm.

Yup. Got it now. Totally makes sense. This is my favorite Star Wars strip yet. The “Ew!” and look on Sir Alec Guinness Bug’s face…

Ok, I admit it, I’m a dense boneheaded moron because when I first read the fourth panel, I thought “what’s the ‘ew’ factor?”?

I then got stuck on “Because Carrie was a strung out drug addict?”

Took me way too long to realize I should be reading “VI”, not “IV” and realized incest was the ‘ew’ factor. Doh!

That made it funnier, if only to laugh at my slow takeup.

Is that George Lucas holding the script in the last panel? If so, where’s his beard?

No, that’s Solo. Note the stripy shorts and cool black vest.
