Good news, everyone! There’s a medication that will cure of this strange dream. Unfortunately, it must be taken as a suppository.

For some reason, old doctor bug sort of reminds me of Cranky Kong from the Donkey Kong.

The title alone is gold. I wonder how long you spend thinking of them; they tend to be very clever.

I was originally hesitant in using it. Not sure how many folks are old enough to remember that show.

Hey, I’m 21 and I watch Doogie Howser. = P I think anyone who reads your comic will have the same appreciation for history, no matter the age. They’d have to to get a lot of the jokes, wouldn’t they?

In a weird way, I’m fine if I make a reference that only a few people get. Makes it special. I loved it when I got an obscure reference in a Mystery Science Theater 3000 episode.

I know that feeling. I like do that too, on the rare occasion that I draw a comic (nobody bother looking for me; I don’t have anything anywhere). And when you get something other people don’t, yeah, it’s like a big rush of dork-ish pride. = D

Definitely like the possibilities that come with “Old Nerd Bug”, who is quite different from “God Bug” because he has a different beard and wears glasses… Anyway, I am looking forward to seeing this new “Bug”, as I am with almost every new “Bug” created, for whatever reason, the design you chose just works for so many characters. There seems to be no limit!!

Oh there’s a limit. I’ll run out of hairdos, hats and eye-wear eventually.

I’ve been treated by new doctors a couple of times… definitely awkward when you wonder if it’s the first time they’ve seen a stranger’s boobs, and then you sit there thinking he’s kinda cute and wondering what he thinks about you. With your boobies just hanging there.

On the other hand it’s nice to see a young and eager doc before the fire in their eye is extenguished by one too many oozing roll…

“No one wants to be a young doctor’s first butt” may in fact be the most awkward sentence I’ve ever read.

I think Old-as-Dirt Bug should become a regular, haha.

A well experienced doc saved my son from a dangerous and expensive operation. The young whippersnappers wanted to competely remodel his digestive tract and the old doc suggested a simple solution without all the cutting and drama. The youngsters didn’t think it would work and was a waste of time to try it. His response was ” Maybe it won’t work and maybe it will, try it first and if it doesn’t work, then cut. ” They tried, it worked, thank you so much, voice of experience.

Did you by chance mean “Gorgon”? Gorgons are the things that are ugly enough to petrify things with their looks.

Is it me, or does Bug in the third panel actually looks like a cockroach?
