Some days I try a little game where I read this site’s daily cartoon without reading the narrator text — all the while trying to figure out what the cartoon is all about.

After some thought, I’ll go back and re-read the cartoon (this time with the narrator text) and see how close I was.

Some days I’m pretty close. But I have to admit that today was not one of those days. (If you try it out, you’ll see why the explanatory text is a good thing!)

Yeah, sometimes it’s pretty funny how my thoughts follow through.

In this strip for example, in the second panel I thought the cartoon was about rich kids, but I had my doubts by the third panel. And by the fourth panel, I was totally lost.

There’s an argument that WW3 ended in 1991 when various generals failed to revive the Soviet Union.

I’m pretty sure by the time World War 3 would’ve started weapons will get so advanced that they’ll start negotiating their own peace treaties or something.

Either that or what Zimriel said.
