I wouldn’t have thought of this. Thank you, Adam, for reminding us of the “little people” behind the stars of stage, screen, history, and mythology. (I’ve worked backstage, so I know.)

Now it occurs to me, regarding the Labors of Hercules: some poor sod had to muck out the stalls of those Man-Eating Mares. Obviously the one supposed to muck out the Augean Stables said, Screw this, I’m out of here.

More likely King Augeas simply never bothered to hire staff for his stables in the first place.

Those katana swords would be tough on all of those bamboo crops. You could always hire 7 Samurais and pay them in bamboo.

I can imagine the warning labels on Ninja pesticides used by BUGS. Page after page of proper use of protective gear and clothing needed for proper use. Page after page of descriptions detailing the painful, debilitating symptoms and eventual death if the protective equipment isn’t used properly. Of course, since we’re talking Ninja’s here it could be sudden death.

Probably a tough job in Skyloft as well – your entire crop can be wiped out by Link or the other knights in training.

And god help you if any part of your house happens to clang against a steel sword…
Oddly, though, attaching The Elf on the Shelf to balloons seems to do the trick.

Not to mention you run the risk of being riddled with pandas.

But at least it would be a *cute* infestation. Second-cutest ever, right after koalas.

yeah but they’d be falling asleep all over the place and that’d ruin your crops.

Correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t bamboo come from China while Samurais and Ninjas come from Japan?

Well, seeing as how nobody’s replied three months in, I might as well be the random creepy guy who answers way too late, right?

Bamboo actually grows all over the world, from East and Southeast Asia, to Australia to Sub-Sarahan Africa and even parts of the Americas. there’s quite an extensive population in the American Southeast where I live.
