Wow. This is the only comic on my "list" that makes me laugh out loud at least once a week. I think it's the hands. I really wish I knew how you manage to convey so much with just hands and no facial expressions.

    Why are you not syndicated?

I always wonder why some of the syndicated comics actually are. Most of them seem about as funny as a corkscrew up the jacksie; laughs are the exception, almost like they messed up and made a joke by mistake. Maybe he's not syndicated because he actually is consistently funny…

Don't know about that, but I know panel 2 made me laugh out loud.

And then I got some weird looks from my coworkers, until I showed them what was up.

(Okay, no hands in this one, really, so I guess it's the twisted dialogue, too. But still, The hands are (usually) great!)

How does she know it's cyanide? Could just be an aspirin. I've been on dates where I could have used one.

Also, I spelled cyanide right without looking, but had to spellcheck aspirin. I'm pretty sure there's something wrong with that.

rofl panel two is just wrong!!! you gave the guy a rape whistle?! lol there is seriously something wrong with you.

also, i almost gagged when i read this. it's 4am when i read these, and i had to bite a pillow to stop from laughing out loud and waking the whole damn house! needless to say, i choked on said pillow.

Another excellent comic! I agree the rape whistle was unexpected, funny, and the line, "I've seen the way you look at me," could not have been better. Thanks for the laugh!

      Ha ha. No.

I was wondering how this panel would come across. The joke is that pre-first aid is just him saying: "Damn man. You okay?"

I found this to be the funniest panel and actually chuckled quite a bit at it, but I wondered if anyone else would get the joke. I went back and forth, trying to figure out if it was funny, or just funny to me.

I actually got that the first time, I'm thinking "isn't that what EVERYONE does?" Maybe he's trained in a special art of it, like a certain fluctuation of vocal quality that doesn't really help anything XD

Yeah, I wasn't sure at first, so the punchline was a bit lost on me for that panel — I guess it depends on the reader. Trouble is, you can't see at first if the smashed-glasses bug had an accident or got beaten up; a culprit prop would've helped me out there, but everyone else seems to have gotten it, so maybe I'm just slow. :-/

Actually when we were learning first aid in school we were told that the first thing to do when you see an unconscious body is to say loudly "Are you okay?" in case you know they just randomly fell asleep or something…

Never leave without house keys, a couple of band aids, my Swiss knife, my umbrella, a pair of fingerless gloves to be able to use any object as a weapon without bruising my palms, a bottle of water, a bunch of tissues and wet tissues, a bunch of Har candies for sucking if I get bored, a bunch of mints for after a meal, headphones(wired and wireless), an external power pack, a charger cable for my phone, maybe even a couple of aa and aaa batteries sometimes. And of course never without my watch, phone and wallet
