I don’t think the drops would have enough velocity to clear the loop.

    Aqueduct? Where’s the duct tape?

Ironically, duct tape doesn’t work on ducts. The water washes away the adhesive over time and makes it fall off.

actually, duct tape is for air ducts, to fix the problem of a leaky pipe, i wrap it in paper towls, then put the tape on

I did that at my fathers place. He normally spend his winters in India backpacking since becoming a senior citizen. While he’s away I drop by his house every 10 days or so to water his plants and stuff.

He had turned off the water to his house, but the main faucet in the basement was leaking a bit, which he had “fixed” by putting a big tub under the dripping faucet. Water for the plants, great, but less great that the dripping had filled to tub and was spilling onto the floor.

A couple of yards of plastic cable guide and some duct tape later and the drops had their own track directly to the grating in the floor! Fixed!

for a small amount of extra effort, couldn’t you have routed it into a micro-drip watering system and killed two birds with one stone? Watered plants AND no overflowing tub?

I agree with Azh. I’d’ve done that.

Speaking of stupid and loop-the-loops: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Action_Park#Cannonball_Loop was a fascinating water slide.

Hahah, are you sure you didn’t fall into an I Love Lucy sketch regardless?

    I will always ‘Love Lucy’.

She and hubby founded the studios Desilu, which produced ‘Star Trek: The Original Series’. If it weren’t for them, Trek might not be around.
