Love bugs pose in the last panel. You can clearly see how unsuspecting he is…

Nerd bug hates bug, doesn't he?

Maybe he's getting back at him for childhood bullying . . . or maybe he just hates everyone.

It'd be better to hide under a car completely so you can break the person's ankles and then drag them under. You could slit their ankles but that would leave a messy drag stain of blood that'd be kinda hard to miss later on for people passing through, and it'd suck to have to clean it up. (No I'm not a serial killer.) lol

Yikes, know what you mean. I used to scoff at friends and family that told me to always walk to my car from the back so I could see if there was anyone lying in the backseat.. But now I do it.

Is that because of an experience? Or just paranoia because you feel that you are a target.

Haha, good comic. Reminds me of one of my all time favourite bug comics (http://www.bugcomic.com/comics/have-you-ever/) with the killer in the shower.

I loove bug, read it in my year twelve english class when the teacher gets boring :p

I just wanted to point out that it should be (and please excuse me for being extremely anally retentive here) "AS part of my routine"

Apart from that, you write the funniest and cleverest webcomic on the net 😀

isn't there an article missing in the first sentence? either 'a' or 'the'… (it even seems like there's already the double spaces to go around it) – or, since it says "part of", maybe "added" should be "made". or, maybe it should say "part to", given the article… man, it's such a mystery.

anyways, awesome comic and all that. 🙂

It's not unheard of for robbers to hide in the back seat. They don't have to kill you, just take your money/car/etc…

My favorit is the first panel. Like the drawing and the check list.

But I wonder – if he already "checked" the seatbelt, doesn't that mean that he can't turn around backwards to check for killers?

And more important: who would add himself a handicap before he checks for killers? I guess that is already introducing to the "dimwitted" part? 😉

    Excellent.

Yo, you are not alone. And it's not about thinking you are important. It's about fearing the violence of ravenous psychopaths who just want blood.

    Totally normal.

It's kinda nice that having a baby gives me a way to thoroughly check the back seat without feeling like I'm being paranoid.

I also tend to check behind the shower curtain in case there's something nasty. Not sure if I'm more worried about an axe murderer or a corpse.

It is not paranoia when you check the backseat. My window was open one night and the next morning there was a HUGE raccoon in my backseat eating leftover taco bell my step son left in the front seat.

I got in, started the truck, heard the trilling growl from back seat and ran like he!! back to the house. Left the truck on with the door wide open. I checked the back seat with a flashlight for two years after that morning.

it is unlikely that a serial killer would wait like that as most incredibly successful serial killers tend to be very normal looking and even charismatic to the point that people actually find them very friendly and nice seeming even likable that is until the obtain a weapon and go ballistic

as such i never trust overtly friendly people or even just friendly people
