Festivus for the rest of us!

    Merry Holidays, Mr. Martini.

I’m pretty old (or so I’m told), but I never liked Seinfeld. So I’m totally out of my depth here, other than to wish you and yours a very merry christmas.

Good for you and I’m in total agreement! I have a general antipathy to comedians who regularly laugh at their own jokes to let me know that they’re funny – I’ll be that arbiter, thank you very much.

But I do have to admit that I thought the Frogger episode was funny.

      And Holly Hippodays to all!

Merry Christmas! Ah, there’s nothing like the soul-crushing realization you get when you have subordinates born 19 years ago. I say something like “I’ll be back” or make an older SNL reference and get a blank stare. I, of course, say “Come on, Terminator 2?” More incomprehension. “Hugely popular film? That…came out 20 years before you were born…oh god, I’ve turned into those old geezers that were here when I first arrived in the mid-80s”. Anyway, Merry New Year! (As Billy Ray said in “Trading Places”)

Its a piece of candy like a turtle. Its pecans and carmel and chocolate. Or maybe its a piece of nougat.

Good night, I have to assume you people are being assholes on purpose. Seinfeld is a comedic television series.

No, you don’t have to. You choose to.

When an individual uses the phrase “I have to assume χ”, it means mean that they are unaware of any alternative conclusions that can be reached via logical process, and are unwilling to resort to #InsaneTrollLogic. If there is another reason why you guys have disregarded the possibility of using a search engine or wiki to answer your question in favour of acting like titanic cocks, I am all ears.

What are you talking about? BugFanNo1million didn’t have any question that they would have needed to search the answer to.

And the original question by MaxOfFewTrades was quite obviously made in jest, continuing the joke from the last panel. (Since as you pointed out, if they actually wanted to know what Seinfeld was, they would have just googled it.)

Oh Jesus. As I have to assume you are unfamiliar with the concept of “humor” I am wondering why you visit this site on a regular basis.

You’re still making the choice, and you also chose to disregard the possibility that the entire thread, including the question, was in jest.

Actually, “in jest” still falls under the purview of “on purpose”.

Never watched Seinfeld, but I know the reference. Never watched Friends, Fraser, House, Games of Thrones, and haven’t watched much of any television other than the occasional news program for over 1.5 decades. Modern television sucks.

After a decorating war got out of hand in the office the previous year, (we’re talking 6-foot inflatable snowmen, turning cubes into gingerbread houses and a working ski lift) Christmas decorations were banned. So my coworker brought in a Festivus pole and played that part of the episode on a loop.

My family has a giant CD set of every Seinfeld episode ever plus bonus content for most of them, so yes, I do get your reference 🙂
