Well, with Bug as VP, they could also have him serve as head of the Secret Service.

You’d be better than the secret service apparently is.

I thought it was going to end with no one wanting to shoot the president because they’d get stuck with Bug.

Me too. It will be the decade of piece thanks to the united fear of Bug ruling the US.

That’s why Papa Bush chose Dan Quayle as his running mate.

I know I should fact-check myself, but houldn’t be Karate chop? Judo is for self defence and would involve throwing the opponent down, while karate is more offensive and would take the fight to the assailant.

If *I* were the running mate, the presidential candidate would probably get a negative number of votes…

You’re correct… it SHOULD be karate chop. “Judo chop” is a relic of late 1960’s TV shows.

And that Diane Sawyer… I never really trusted her either…

        But “judo chop” is funnier.

Reading the words “judo chop” on their own, out of context, makes me think of the strangest diner blue plate special you could order.

“Judo chop for me please, with the bashed potatoes…”

Panel 1 looks like you just won a boxing match, the way your hand is being raised.
