I always get the fourth panel option. One time I was riding a horse from my house to my elementary school to follow the yellow magic string through the maze in the gymnasium… I still don't know why that was my quest…

Lately I've been having a lot of panel 2 happen. 50% of the time I'll realize I'm dreaming, but I can't figure out how to manipulate anything… then I forget I'm dreaming when a shopping cart bites off my foot.

Once I had a dream where I had to help the 7 dwarfs kill the king of the hill, so that the president of the united states didn't start a war with France. I then walked away before things got out of hand, but not after asking one of the dwarfs where the closest Taco Bell is. They were out of Mountain Dew, so I ended up fighting France for rights to the moon, so that I can get enough moon rocks to pay back the US for the Mountain Dew they forgot to give me. It was a fun night.

Vivid dreaming that I can control FTW; but I often choose to do those random tasks. They are so unpredictable.

I'm the same way with panel two. I once dreamed I almost kissed this girl I used to like but we ( as in I ) couldn't figure out how to do it.

The other night I dreamed that my brother-in-law brought me pot stickers, but they were filled with bacon and scrambled eggs. Apparently I thought this was SO AMAZING that I woke myself up so I could eat them. When I was awake and I finally realized it was a dream I almost cried. No joke.

When I don't have weird dreams mine usually just involve lots of zombies.

I always get the fourth option, which is cool with me. What I wish is that I could change was the format of my dreams. I dream is this strange 3rd person videogame style, complete with health bar, mana bar, items list, and mini-map. It sounds cool, but it kinda gets old after several years. I know someone who dreams in a comic-book format, with speech bubbles and everything.

I know what you mean. One character is always based on me, as far as actions and behaviors and situations go, but I always experience the dream from the POV of a character that /isn’t/ the one based on me.

Yeah, I have 2 and 4. My most recent 4 dream was about my friends and I riding dragons over a barren valley surrounded by erupting volcanoes and a piece of tar flew up out of one and stuck to one of my friends' face, then we landed in the jungle and passed by a white NASA rocket in a clearing and kept walking until we came across a two story hotel with striped wallpaper, and then all the sudden a flood was coming and we had to pack up random items and my chemistry teacher was there and for some reason had a gray mustache and was trying to pack all the silverware and champagne glasses into a brown suitcase and then the flood came but didn't fill the hotel, so I ran upstairs and went through this random door and ended up in my bedroom, which was perched on the top of a skyscraper on a sunny day and just as I sat down on my bed this short dude I use to know came out of nowhere and grabbed a purple lightsaber out of my laundry basket and then left and I had to run to the downstairs of my house because somehow my entire 300-kid grade was having a party there

4th panel, all the way, and to top it off none of the angles add up and nothing actually looks like what I'm "thinking" it is. Replace the spatulas with carrots but leave the dialogue and there you go.

I once dreamed that the final 25 mark question of my 50 mark german test was to either "Explain the Mummy, from The Mummy Returns" or "Draw the third stage of englightenment". In German, of course.

And yet all I can think is…

"NOOOO! The president of Zimbabwe is a total jerk. He'll commandeer all of the spatulas for himself! Give 'em to the prime minister."

    Is that strange?

My dreams are like panel 4 only when I'm sick. Otherwise, they're full stories that I'm a character in, complete with plots, subplots, background information, detailed settings, and complex characters. So some of my novels are based off of my dreams. The only thing weird is what I "know" in the dream, like in a perfectly normal one about a play in a fancy opera house, I "knew" the thoughts of multiple people in the room, despite the fact that no one in the crowd spoke. It's as though when I get ill, the system gets messed up.

A couple nights ago, I had a dream that some of my classmates and I (along with other random people) were invited to stay at this awesome mansion. We were all dressed formally, and there were cool things like an animation studio, a giant food table, a private TV channel and other stuff. We all had our own dorms, and the owner of the mansion was going to select one of us to join some board of millionaires who hosted the competition each year… I woke up before I could find out who won.

The trick is that it’s like walking; you don’t have to /try/ to walk (i.e. consciously flexing and relaxing each muscle in your legs), you just do it. Since you don’t ordinarily know how to fly, thinking about it will make you fail, but since you have the ability in your dream, just aim for a cloud or tall building and go there.

My dreams have improved (AKA gotten stranger/more fun) since I watched inception. For example, I had a lucid dream in which I asked one of the characters in my dream what it felt like to be a figment of my subconscious.

It gets harder for me to remember dreams the older I get, which I hate. One of my more recent ones me as Harry in my second hp game finding secret passages and fighting this one dude. I finally defeated him and ended the dream by beating up his little sister, shouting “loophole!” and then punching him. Being able to cast spells was cool, but I spent the entire dream fleeing in abject terror from that one dude, so I didn’t get to enjoy it.

Lol, poor panel 2 people, I live for the days I realize I’m dreaming. Last time I went on this amazing quest on the Pegasus galaxy to uncover an ancient underwater warship. It was fun,-sigh- I miss SGA why did they have to cancel it?

Strangest Dream I ever had was I was in a room in a house confronted by Venom (from the spiderman comics) and as I screamed the Ghostbusters (cartoon version) bustd in through the roof, and blasted him, and then the house exploded and we all died.

I’m never in my dreams but the people in them get random tasks to do, often videogamey in nature (Go there, kill this, avoid that bad guy or lazer beam, pull that lever, find the clues to the mystery whatever. Last night I had a pair of blue castles with a portal between them that only opens on some sort of lunar alignment, and this portal opened and the evil king came through and the people had to run from him.)

Oh! Oh! I forgot to mention movie-style reveals that the characters arent aware of. In one dream it was slowly panning across these evil looking yakuza sort of bad guys and you could feel anticipation as we watched the ‘camera’ pan to the right and watching for a face we recognise, to identify them as the traitor. Suspense rite? so it pans past these sinister tattooed guys and the big reveal shows the bad guy to be… a swaddled baby. lmaowtf sort of dream there. It woke me up.
