If there's one thing I've learned during my years of experience being a human it's that determination added to stupidity always produces results.

    Money helps too.

Oh, true that. I doubt we'd have the Lifetime channel if someone, somewhere hadn't had free time.

I'm pretty sure we wouldn't STILL have a Lifetime channel if alot of people didn't have too much free time.

No one has to simultaneously hit the delete key… All you have to do is make sure everyone's using DRM'd ebooks like iPads and Kindles.

Then just have Apple and Amazon mass-send a "rm *.book"

Instantly, millions of books will be burned right off of their memory cards.

Well I must say this one is going into my heathen book. As the internet will prevent another giant book burning. Yay internet redundant data!

I always thought book burning was hilarious.

"Hey, we hate this book! Let's all buy copies and give the author money and sales numbers in protest! Also, because book burning is controversial, he gets lots of free publicity and this will probably motivate others to buy the book to see what's got us all riled up!"

Check out today's xkcd! I read it and thought, "Where have I seen this before?" You should get on Randall for stealing your idea. 🙂

Ha ha. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

I don't think he's stealing my idea. We both played with the same subject but came up with two completely different jokes. I did email him however and we'll see if writes back.

Ah, best thing about the internet, once it gets out, you can never get rid of it, because location will expand and always change 🙂

I will need to burn up some of my Cat Fancy soon… or give it to someone who will actualley want it? I'll just drop it off at the vets waiting room. It seems harsh to burn something with kitty faces on it

I upgraded my monitor to a widescreen and can see the 5th panel on all your comics now! (Greatest new find on the internet, thanks for what you do!)

For some reason, everything on this page loaded except for the comic itself. I’m bummed. Oh, well, on to the next page…

Explosive Flash drives have many uses! Give them to your enemies! Give them to your high security clearance co-workers you don’t entirely trust. Also: “This message will self-destruct in five seconds”

The kindle brings up an interesting point because several authors of controversial material were shocked that Amazon removed their books because of complaints the books were indecent.

Unless you read your ebooks by pdf because all the electronics books have their own proprietary format and now large companies will just bend to the will of crazies. At least, libraries in the U.S. hold banned book week and would proudly display real physical books that people are offended by to demonstrate that all books have a purpose.
