Definitely one of the better strips you have made, oh and oranges hurt the most, a bag of oranges are actually a quite deadly weapon and sometimes used in insurance fraud since getting hit once or twice can leave bruises and cracked skin, as well as cause broken bones and internal bleeding…I'm the master of fun =D.

Oranges? Really? I thought they’d be more squishy. If you have open wounds I suppose the citrus acids could be a problem…

If you want to use the citric acids, lemons are way more effective. Not only are they more acidic, but their aerodynamic shape can make them hit really hard.

Cucumbers may look like good weapons, but they’re mostly water, and will break when they hit a human skull.

        Pineapples are way better…

Frozen Twinkies do *substantially* more damage. Meanwhile grapes are almost pleasant to get hit with — unless your mouth is wide open…

I've always assumed he uses an auto-uploader so fans don't start complaining when it's 1AM with no comic.

I agree with everyone's comments. This comic is brilliant. I'm surprised Adam can keep coming up with this stuff.

The 3rd strip with the "comparing apples and oranges" was the best one imo.

3rd panel is tremendous! I feel like I'm missing some subtlety or wordplay in the phrase "whole grain puncture wounds"

The closest I can think of is "hole" grain puncture wounds.

Maybe the food fights would fare better if the bugs were all Fruit Ninjas. Of course, they might have trouble with granola shanks. Fiber is *always* my weapon of choice.

made me sadface a bit, remembering highschool (Apples were a common torture device… I’ve had for than a couple broken bones from them).

Alternatively, I’d like to say that Apples hurt far more than Oranges if they hit bone (Oranges squish, Apples don’t really), and oranges hurt a little bit more than apples if they hit squishy parts (It’s easier to get more momentum behind an orange, as it’s shape is closer to a baseball.)

It makes me sad that I know this.

Apples would hurt more, they’re considerably harder than oranges at comparable ripeness.
