I wish I had the option to disappear into some supplemental material when I was a kid. Coulda gotten outta some boring chores and mind-numbing homework.
Since Gandalf was actually a Maia from Valar– something like archangels, I suppose– if he had a childhood, his parents should have been like him and able to cope. That said, I love the bearded baby wizard….
Well, if you’re going to follow the LORE then you have to talk about how the parents constantly have to protect him from the temptations of Melkor, and have to deal with him constantly changing form to get away from you
I was worried the comic wouldn’t show. But everything seems to have worked out fine. Good that it did- reading Bug Martini has become hobbitual for me.
sorry for being a nit-picker, but gandalf is basically (not exactly, but close enough) an angel. so he didn’t really have parents. but that’s ok, i don’t mind, i just thought the internet at large should know i’m concerned about the state of LOTR lore
