Zombie kid says gross. Bug, if that happens, it MUST be disgusting.

Feeling sick before Halloween-means you feel much better than everyone else the day after. 😛

Yeah…holidays = sick for most of my childhood as far as I can remember. Especially New Years for some reason. The day the hospital closes down to a skeleton crew and the clinics close their doors…someone gets hurt or sick, or needs an ambulance.

Is the plural for ambulance – ambuli? It should be ambuli.

Well I’m ashamed to ask, but what’s cowboys & ballerinas?

It’s a reference to a game played by little boys (mostly), called “Cowboys & Indians”, based on the old 50s and 60s western movies wherein the “Indians” were always the bad guys. Not in any way based in reality, since it was usually the white people who screwed over the Indians.
The whole “Indians are savages” idea cropped up because white people couldn’t understand how people could tie other people up on ant hills and watch ’em squirm. They didn’t realize that the various fighting amongst the tribes of Native Americans was largely their Saturday Night entertainment. The longer a captive lasted during torture, the more respect you had for how tough he was. It was brutal, but not really savage. It’s just…the way it was.

Nah, I enjoy extensive answers that provide background. Thing is, I still kinda don’t get it. Is the ballerina upset, cuz he’s such a novice at being a meanie cowboy to ballerinas? Now I feel like the “Derrr….” ignorance bug from a while ago. 😛

I wish we had halloween in Norway. If we go trick-or-treating, people just slam the door in our faces. 😛
So a bad halloween memory is probably better than not having halloween at all. Still, poor cowboy-bug. And that ballerina is totally hitting on him!

We used to get rained out. Sometimes even rain didn’t stop us, we just all went as the Gordan’s Fisherman.

I always loved the Halloween’s when we had to try to fit our costumes over our snow suits. That was a trick!

I’m gonna say 1980 based on Adam’s age and the fact that kid bug is standing on his tippy toes to reach the drinking fountain (It means the fountains were designed for older kids).

“Sick, resentful bug (sic) in the window” has the most hilarious look on his face! Poor little guy…ha ha ha. Sir Yaks-a-lot. You kill me, Adam. You really, really do!

OMG–that brings back memories! I was sick EVERY school holiday–starting with Chicken Pox at Easter in kindergarden! It was either the flu, disgusting colds, or something more virulent from then on. And I always shared it with my brother, that’s the kind of kid I was!

My parents have a video of me tripping on someone’s door step on Halloween. My siblings never let me hear the end of it.

I hope his parents at least bought him candy, if he couldn’t go trick-or-treating.

I had chicken pox right before Halloween when I was 5, but instead of keeping me home, my parents put face paint on me and took me to a party! hahaha Take that other kids!
