Panel 3 brought me so much joy in such a concise box.

If the little girl in panel 4 is the one who shot the place up in the “Dude” strip, she shouldn’t be allowed to watch movies like that. She’s probably picking up pointers.

I’m not sure why Tinkerbug has curly antenna… but it somehow looks right. Don’t forget Xmas still has the best stop-motion animation classics (and toy commercials during the breaks!) Why is it that few other holidays even have movies to celebrate them? I mean, when was the last good Columbus Day movie?

      Granted, it’s not a great flick, but…http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103594/

Haha, 9 freakin yrs ago. (But they DO keep replaying IaWF and Mo34thS from ’46 and ’47 so…) I somehow missed this. They lost $33M on it?? I guess that’s nothing for Ridley Scott. Bet half the natives are replicants!

I want to see a horror movie where the bad guy’s weapon of choice is an egg-beater!

Panels 2 through 4 made me laugh like a hyena 😀 Can totally relate to this: I think Christmas sucks, and Halloween rocks!

Eggbeater, well that was unexpected and funny. Poor little fairy will have to join my little pony in Hell, oh well.

I would pay to see a movie where freddy krueger uses an egg beater to wreak havoc!

Best comment I’ve ever read about Halloween vs. Christmas: “Halloween is the best holiday, because you get all the candy you can eat and don’t have to put up with any of that ‘true meaning of’ crap.” 🙂

I remember a movie where the weapon of choice on the first victim was paperclips. I don’t think we are ever going to have to worry about losing the true meaning of Halloween.

Are you talking about a old comedy that was a spoof of slasher movies? I think I’ve seen that flick.

I just “got” your username, Bob! Hilarious, btw…
Also…I think I may have seen the spoof movie Adam speaks of too. About 20 years ago, so my memory is a tad hazy, but it sort of rings a bell.

I wish I saw that movie. I learned the lesson about the egg beater the hard way.

I love the fact that Bug only has arms when he needs them. Otherwise they’re camouflaged. Sweet!

I like A Christmas Carrol and all, but it always kinda put me off that while Scrooge was an asshole, its not like he forced people to take loans from him. Is it so unbelivable that a BANKER might want their money back? And its not like the people who borrowed from him didnt know how hard he was about it.

Eh, they may be the exception rather than the rule, but there are some good Christmas movies out there. To name a few, you’ve got Brazil, Die Hard, Gremlins, and… well, you’ve got those three.

Is a movie a Christmas movie just because the events depicted happen to be occurring around Christmas?

That one’s kind of a weird one; it’s a great movie, but you can’t really use it in a “Christmas movies vs Halloween movies” debate because it’s both.
