Lovely touch with him and the upside down cane. Too awesome! Merry Christmas Adam! 😀 Thanks for keeping my mornings well entertained.

Upside down? I thought the red end goes on the bottom.

Thanks! Wasn’t sure how many folks would visit the site on Christmas.

Speaking as someone who is visually impaired and owns one, yes the red end does go on the bottom. They are also a pain in the rear to use. But since the comic isn’t colored I can see where you might think it is a normal cane that he is just holding upside down. Either way, awesome comic – not just this one but all of them. I love your work.

Jason; “visually impaired” but, still reading a webcomic AND typing a response?!
Did you get pointed out once, and are now ‘living the lie’? 🙂

LOL Absolutely! That or it could be the joy of technology and the fact that my vision is just highly blurry instead of completely gone. The really amusing part is when you consider that I have a career in digital art, web design, and teaching computer science and I still can’t see past the end of my nose most days. Ahh technology, the great enabler.

Yup. Technology completely ruined Darwin’s evolution theories (at least for human beings)

I used to do exactly that. Now, however, I give them a cheerful greeting both coming and going. I keep the watch pocket of my jeans full of quarters and every kettle gets one, and only one. It’s actually amazingly cheap. Probably no more than $5 to $7 a year. Cheap enough to not feel that stress of “being on stage in real life”.

Shouldn’t there be a full stop at the end of Helen-Keller-Bug’s line? “Now I gotta live the lie.”
