To be fair, who WOULDN’T fall for a couch-cushion cage?

I agree. It’s the grown-up equivalent to a windowless van full of candy.

Absolutely. I could live out my remaining years in a couch cushion fort, but my wife keeps saying it makes the living room look cluttered. Dang it!

This comic is perfectly timed! I can completely skip the brainstorming phase!

As long as Monday’s comic is “3 steps to tracking down my location” and Tuesday’s is “What to do with kidnapped webcomic artists”

You got this up at midnight exactly? As a career procrastinator, I’m impressed.

As for the actual comic, the couch cushion fort is genius. I had one of those as my secret superhero sanctum for months when I was about eight or nine.

Ha, I didn’t notice that until you pointed it out. (I’m also a major procrastinator -I read and annotated Frankenstein in a day and a half the weekend before it was due despite having all summer, wrote a 10 page (with pictures) report on Russia in a 7 straight hour sitting the day before it was due, etc.)

      Also, awesome fort.

Ahh couch forts! They will be end of us all one day. Though the on you have in the first panel is fairly well constructed.

Yeah, the couch cushion trap would catch me too. Or a maze built with taped-together cardboard boxes.

I notice that panel 3 isn’t getting enough run. So I’ma say somethin’ about it. Art Store Supplies rock! I could spend a ton of $$ in one…if I had a ton of $$, that is.
Art Supply Stores are like stores that sell tools or home building supply stores or better yet…Office Supply Stores. Now THOSE would get me every time!

Sadly, I don’t have enough couch cushions in my house to make a fort. At best, I can make a couch cushion toolshed.
