The real thing to do with vinegar and baking soda is bottle cannons. Best ever was when I switched from regular corks to these lock down stopper things. A rubber stopper you stretch with a metal plunger built into the top so that the stopper part will fit in the bottle. Then you let loose and the stopper is well stuck in the bottle.
Will the stopper cork give first, or the sides of the glass bottle?

Yes and the Random Comic button always leads to the same comic (which at least changes every day or so).
