I hate when the mildew gains sentience.

Demoralising when the sentient mildew can beat you at chess before it discovers fire though…

Maybe Sentient Mildew will be the next web comic here?

At least it’s polite mildew. Mine’s kinda snarky.

Snarky? Mines straight murderous! I had to move, but it found me! I’ve entered the Witness Protection Program, and I still worry that it’ll find me! I’d kill for snarky mildew!

Well, I was contemplating getting a scented candle. This comic help me decide.

…probably depends on the scent of the candle though. The “Hobo Socks” and “Orphan Tears” scents are generally not recommended.

Indeed. Orphan Tears taste far better than they smell.

At a craft fair, I bought an herbal soap called Mountain Man. I pointed out that mountain men probably smelled that good for about two hours a year, if that.

Ha! Just got to the end of the latest Geeks of Steel too – was that the inspiration for this strip in the sound drop there, or were you working on it when you were podcasting? 😀

Ha-ha! Didn’t realize Matt put that at the end. Yes, you are correct! Well done, Holmes.

    I love Adam’s rendering of a V8 engine block

I agree! I grew up with all kinds of car parts on the kitchen counters and table, the only part that differs is that we didn’t cover up the engine smell with candles because my mom was allergic…mmmm the sweet smell of engine…

It looks like they’re getting ready to open a portal to hell under that garbage in the last panel, which seems like a pretty effective solution.

Let hell deal with our mess. When it burns that’s just one more torture the citizens have to endure, and at no cost!

We just pour Pine-Sol in the toilet (both bowl AND tank). Stinks it up right purty in there!
And doesn’t EVERYone have an engine block on the kitchen counter once in a while?

A stench by any other name would smell just as foul.
