How the HECK do you lose that much money? I thought they would’ve kicked you off long before then.

Young people these days, they haven’t even got their golden years consternations properly planned.

When I was in my 30s, I’d already decided I would be crotchetty about the amount of noise young people make, especially on Sundays. *shakes fist*

I know I am overthinking this, but I keep wondering if the -76,000 is inflation-adjusted for the future, or if Old Bug is just THAT bad at old people stuff

Wisdom of the old folks comes from experience and experience is remembering past bad decisions. The bad decisions were made from lack of experience. Us fossils just remember making those decisions before and the young ” Knowitalls ” haven’t crossed those shakey bridges yet. Voting for Carter comes to mind and I had hoped for good change then.

β€œI apologize because of the terrible mess the planet is in. But it has always been a mess. There have never been any β€˜Good Old Days,’ there have just been days. And as I say to my grandchildren, β€˜Don’t look at me. I just got here myself.’” Kurt Vonnegut β€” Syracuse University Commencement speech, 1994

I’ll openly speak out against Michael Bay and M Night Shaymalan but that’s about it

How can you be this funny so consistently? Anyway, at age 17 my best friend and I decided that when we are old ladies we will refuse to accept any currency with Reagan on it.

Hey, in my development I’ve got grandmas with nose jewelry — and not just a stud, we’re talking intricate pendants. (Refugees from Myanmar.)
