ya… no kidding. the biggest hole I have ever made was at the beach. and while that hole was big, it was not big enough to have a fort. (I could stand in it and have my head poking out of it)

Joke all you want, but a movie about a young child who dreams of archaeology stumbling upon an ancient coty full of Nazi Morlocks under his yard and having to make his way home? If he has an adorable dog who accompanies him on his adventures, that film is a guaranteed smash hit!

This is a similar movie to the one you describe. Not EXACTLY the same, but similar. Early Don Johnson.

Noncommittal gophers, I love it!. Seriously though where can I get some, the committed gophers are tearing up the lawn at my work….. And have you tried dynamite? it makes archeology and digging a LOT more fun.

I could actually hear the idea for nazi-morlocks being sold for eleven million dollars.

I can already see the SyFy channel making the production cost for “Nazi Morlocks.”

Now that I think about it, I always was a little disappointed as a kid when I dug a big hole at the beach and never found buried treasure.

I love the fedora on the bug, by the way.

I’ve spent all day digging out sod for a patio extension. This comic speaks to me.
