Hello, It is March 10, Spring is right around the corner. Time for my Monthly check in with the comic strip. (checks pulse, checks breathing..) Nope, Still dead. Still not updated yet. Is it ironic the last comic strip was about death? Did Adam die? Or just his enthusiasm towards drawing this comic strip? Oh well see you all in April. Happy St. Patrick’s Day.
Happy Mother’s Day (2025). While Adam’s continued absence is indeed worrisome, he’s probably doing the right thing as a parent, and spending time on a profession that can support his kids.
Welp. This might be an instance of a comic Dying, Living Again and Dying again. I still don’t know why a good chunk of webcomic artists don’t give a formal “I Quit” note, still, I hope Adam is doing well in whatever he might be doing now
Well His patreon account is still active but not being updated. So I adon’t think he ever actuallu intended to quit the comic strip. I think he just got busy with other stuff and simply forgot that he was doing a comic strip. At least that is what I am hoping happened and he isn’t intentionally refusing to update it. I mean he is paying to keep this website up years after he stopped updating it. So there is hope.
I’m certain it’s not a deliberate decision to give up on this. It’s just he has a full time job and a family; I think it’s quite easy to let projects like this fall by the wayside. And that’s fine – this is just a hobby for him, which a load of other people just happen to enjoy. Work and family *should* come first.
And I imagine it can be quite daunting to try and come back and commit to regular updates once you’re out of the habit, and that pressure itself can make it harder to be creative.
So Adam, please don’t feel bad about not posting comics. And if you do get the inspiration to draw a comic, please don’t feel like you need to try to commit to regular comics again. Just upload when you feel like it – I’m sure there’ll be plenty of people who’ll continue to enjoy your work.
Adam? Did you quit again? Or are you just taking the Holidays off for fun? Will check back in January.
I hope Adam is doing okay. 🙁
I miss the laughs, but I hope all is well.
Well it’s February 10th. Time for my monthly check in with the comic strip. Still dead. Still not updated. Happy Valentines Day. See you in March.
