Adam, are you just gonna spend October dissing classical monsters? Because if so, I’m going to enjoy this month.

Also, Akihisa Ikeda has werewolves, too. They’re hypersonic under the full moon and at least supersonic in broad daylight. Not sure I’d consider that “not very good”.

I dunno what kind of cross-section Bug Martini has with anime and manga fans, but even ignoring how many or few readers might actually know who that guy is (I sure had to look him up), the deliberately-stylized interpretations of one artist of various monsters isn’t a great counter to jokes that are clearly based on said monsters’ original mythos.

I’m not trying to ‘counter’ anything; I’m just trying to provide Adam, and by extension his readers, with the knowledge of other versions of the various monsters he brings up. I’m only bringing up one outlet this time becsuse I only know the one for werewolves.

Besides which, as I’ve made clear, I’m not taking offense to lighthearted jabs made in good fun. If Adam starts being outright offensive to the people who enjoy one of these creatures, THEN you’ll see some hard retribution.

Hard retribution? I think your entitlement is showing.

Speaking of entitlement, you still owe me Z$500.

I honestly don’t see how you got “entitlement” from “I’m not taking offense to this because it’s good-natured, and won’t be retaliating until it’s not”.

As for the cash, that should be in the mail as of last week… aaand I just realized that it’s never a good idea to put cash in the mail. Let’s hope any would-be interceptors don’t think Z$ worth stealing.

    Werewolves are the best.
I bet a lot of people here would like to be one of the garou.
    Right?…

Hey, you draw some pretty good werewolves!

Maybe they should spin-off into “Werewolf Martini” or something.

Agreed. That is a well drawn werewolf.

“They hide their condition. They have monthly flare-ups.”

And you come up with herpes? Did your wife censor the first version of this comic? I mean – that all but proves that all werewolves are female, surely?

(Oh, and your flare-up needs a hyphen.)

Well at least one comic I have read and a short story by another writer both considered Lycanthropy a STD.

I think you’re confusing Werewolves with hairy people who don’t shave. Or maybe you’re thinking of teenage boys. They both stay up late, have hair growing in strange places and terrorize city neighborhoods. They also both eat lots of red meat.
These are common mistakes and I can see how you wouldn’t think much of a teenage boy.

What’s next? The good thing about being a werewolf is that you can only attend weddings during a full moon?
