    For a very entertaining (fiction) short story featuring a Buddhist monk who can control his body temperature I highly recommend Kim Stanley Robinson’s “Mother Goddess of the World”.

    It’s a magnificent short novelette about a quirky climb of Everest.

    There’s a Dilbert comic that’s kind of similar to this where Asok talks about reheating his tea by holding it to his forehead and imagining fire.
